Madeleine Booth Attended South Eastern Circuit Tim Dutton CBE KC Advanced International Advocacy Course

Bernacchi Chambers member Madeleine Booth recently had the opportunity to attend the South Eastern Circuit Tim Dutton CBE KC Advanced International Advocacy Course at Keble College, Oxford. Aimed at developing the highest standards of advocacy and attended by practitioners from all over the globe, the course is internationally recognised as arguably the world’s best and most intensive advocacy course.

During the 5-day course, Madeleine had the privilege of learning and receiving comprehensive individual feedback from senior advocates of exceptional calibre, including some of the great advocates of the generation. Participants of the course performed multiple pieces of advocacy each day, culminating in mock trials before guest Judges, which equipped them with the tools to keep improving and reach their potential as advocates. The course was not only an extremely worthwhile learning experience, but also a wonderful occasion to connect with the international legal community in an encouraging collegiate environment.
