Hilda read law and business at the University of Warwick. Prior to coming to the Bar, Hilda worked in financial institutions and a leading multimedia company in Hong Kong where she took on roles related to cross-border contractual reviews, compliance and financial regulations.

Hilda served pupillage with Ms. Pauline Leung, Mr. Eugene Yim, Mr. Robin Egerton, Mr. Dick Lee and Ms. Olivia Tsang. She was also marshal to Mr. Justice Russell Coleman SC.

Hilda is developing a mixed civil and criminal practice, and accepts instructions in all areas of work. She is capable of providing written submissions and conducting proceedings in both English and Chinese. Outside of litigation, Hilda is actively developing arbitration and mediation practice.

  • Huang Lidong v Kwong Wing Chung [2023] 2 HKLRD 927, [2023] HKDC 461 – appeal against Master’s decision after final judgment has been sealed and perfected; the argument that court’s appellate jurisdiction is not functus officio was first rejected by the Judge in Chambers but later agreed and adopted by the Court of Appeal (Huang Lidong v Kwong Wing Chung [2024] HKCA 465)
