Adonis was called to the Bar of England and Wales in Trinity 1994 in Inner Temple, The Inns of Court. He came back to Hong Kong and was called to the Hong Kong Bar in the same year.

The areas of practice of Adonis are always wide ranged from civil to criminal and at different levels of Court. In civil side Adonis has been involved in wide variety of cases including those concerning landlord & tenant relationships and rights, corporate and shareholders litigations, commercial and contract lawsuits, civil tort and right enforcements and remedies. Whilst Adonis has never given up his civil practice he has been keeping particularly busy in criminal work in recent years. Adonis’ criminal side of practice is very balanced in covering both defence and prosecution work for trials and/or appeals at Magistracy, District Court, Court of First Instance, Court of Appeal and Court of Final Appeal. For prosecution work, Adonis’ experiences include prosecuting cases for the governmental departments and law enforcement agents of the HKSAR and MTR Corporation Limited.

Adonis has a strong conviction and belief in the rule of law.
