June has gained extensive experience in the legal profession through more than 20 years of dedicated public service, including various roles within the Department of Justice and the Judiciary. June has built a fulfilling career in the legal profession, earning respect for her expertise in handling commercial crime cases, High Court jury trials, and appeals.

As a judicial officer, June presided over a diverse range of legal matters, including criminal cases and family disputes. Her experience spanned the Magistrates’ Court, the Coroner’s Court, and the District Court, where she served as Deputy District Court Judge for years. In each role, she approached intricate legal challenges with care and competence. Her appointment as Criminal Appeals Registrar underscored her ability to manage high-stakes cases and contribute to the effective case management of the Court of Appeal.

In addition to her practical work, June has contributed to the legal field by authoring the section on Coroners in Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, further reflecting her commitment to the profession.
