Lydia joined Chambers in 2018 and now has a broad civil and criminal practice. She has a special interest in complex and voluminous criminal cases involving forensic accounting, and in market misconduct cases. Lydia is also experienced in general criminal and civil matters, including cases involving commercial law, company law, insolvency, bankruptcy, family and matrimonial cases, as well as urgent interlocutory applications. Lydia is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and is capable of making oral and written representations in both English and Chinese.

Lydia served pupillage with Mr. Selwyn Yu SC, Mr. Derek Chan SC, Mr. Eugene Yim, Mr. Jonathan Ah-weng, and Ms. Ann Lui. She was also marshal to Mr. Recorder Robert Whitehead SC (as he then was). Prior to pupillage, Lydia attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She has a working knowledge of U.S. law and has been admitted to the New York Bar.
