Ophelia was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2006. She is a civil and criminal practitioner.

Her practice covers industrial summons, white-collar crime, corruptions, commercial frauds, conspiracy offences, sexual offences, trafficking in dangerous drugs, immigration cases, customs and excise cases, forfeiture proceedings, road traffic matters, commercial disputes, probate, personal injuries, Chinese Medicine Council board appeal and matrimonial proceedings.

Ophelia was previously a Lecturer of Law in Tertiary Institutions and provided specialized in-house legal training for the Governmental Departments. Her comprehensive lectures covered a wide array of legal areas, including business law, family law, probate, and prosecution. Notably, she delivered targeted legal training to Trade Controls Officers of the Customs and Excise Department and Occupational Safety and Health Officers of the Labour Department, enhancing their understanding and application of relevant legal principles in their respective fields.
