New Members

We are delighted to welcome Jason Szeto, Donald Ting and Victor Lui who have joined Bernacchi Chambers as new members.

Jason served pupillage with Mr Hectar Pun SC, Mr Valentine Yim, Mr Steven Kwan, Mr Douglas Kwok, Mr Randy Shek and Mr Carter Chim. Jason majored in Government and Public Administration at the Chinese University of Hong Kong before studying Juris Doctor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During his studies, he was awarded various scholarships and prizes, including JD Gold Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Merit and ranking 1st in year for Personal Injuries Practice.

Donald served pupillage with Mr Hectar Pun SC, Mr Steven Kwan, Mr Kamlesh Sadhwani, Mr Eric Leung and Mr Richard Yip. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong, where he obtained his LLB (First Class Honours) and PCLL (Distinction). During his studies, he received various scholarships and awards, including the Sir Oswald Cheung Memorial Fund PCLL Scholarship for being the best PCLL candidate who intends to practise at the Bar on the basis of academic merit in his year. He was also a panel member of the University of Hong Kong Disciplinary Committee for three years.

Victor served pupillage with Mr Martin Hui SC, Mr Valentine Yim, Mr Charles J. Chan, Mr Eugene Yim and Mr Lewis Law. He obtained his LLB and PCLL from the City University of Hong Kong. During his LLB studies, he was awarded various scholarships and graduated 1st in class. Later, he obtained an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Oxford with distinction in Sentencing. Before coming to the Bar, Victor also had the opportunity to work in financial institutions, where he assisted in contract review and legal risk evaluation for cross-border investment decisions.
