Tasman practises commercial litigation and arbitration with an emphasis on contractual claims, civil fraud, contentious trust, fiduciary obligations, unjust enrichment, and injunctive and other equitable remedies. He is also experienced in property litigation involving beneficial ownership disputes and adverse possession claims. He regularly appears in all levels of courts in Hong Kong as sole advocate.
Tasman also practises in competition law, advising and representing clients through the investigation process and in competition enforcement actions at the Competition Tribunal. He has also contributed to practice notes for research platforms, and has given CPD talks on this area.
Tasman is also developing a practice in aviation law and has experience in advising entities in the aviation and travel industry on passenger and cargo claims under international conventions and other assorted legal issues.

- Toyota Boshoku Europe N.V. v Kingville (HK) Enterprises Limited [2023] HKCFI 2056 — acted for the 7th defendant, a 4th layer recipient of funds allegedly defrauded by scam emails, to oppose the Plaintiff’s application to continue proprietary and Mareva injunctions (as sole advocate)
- Tang Hin Fai and another v Tang Hin Lung and Others:
- [2023] HKCFI 724 — acted for the Plaintiffs to oppose the 2nd Defendant’s application for third party discovery made in less than 2 weeks’ time before trial (as sole advocate)
- [2023] HKCFI 2637 — acted for the Plaintiffs in a 4-day trial to recover possession of their property against 4 Defendants (as sole advocate)
- Kwok Wing Fat v The Personal Representative of the Estate of Kwok Chun Kan, Deceased [2023] HKCFI 1242 — acted for the plaintiff in his adverse possession claim against the deceased owner of a residential property which was resumed by the Government and demolished by the time of judgment (as sole advocate)
- The Incorporated Owners of Kam Tao, Ngan Tao and Hoi Tao Buildings v Fair Charter Investments Limited and others [2023] HKLdT 32 — acted for the applicant in a 2-day trial for its claim of unpaid contributions for renovation expenses, involving interpretation of untested contribution clause in the DMC (as sole advocate)
- Luen Ming Supreme Fabricator Co Ltd and another v Ng Chi Wah and another (HCA 2593/2017, [2021] HKCFI 1501) — acted for the 1st and 2nd plaintiffs in a 6-day trial on its misrepresentation claim (as sole advocate)
- Toyota Boshoku Europe NV v Hong Kong Longshenyuan International Trade Ltd and Others (HCA 2091/2019, [2022] HKCFI 1328) — acted for the 48th defendant, a 3rd layer recipient of funds allegedly defrauded by scam emails, in its application to discharge proprietary and mareva injunctions (as sole advocate)
- Goldstone Investment Group Limited v Indigo V Capital Limited (HCMP 1134/2021) — acted for an intended petitioner to oppose a listed company debtor’s application for urgent injunction against presentation of winding-up petition, on the ground of material non-disclosure and no serious issue to be tried (as sole advocate)
- Chan Siu Ping v Personal Representative of the Estate of Lam See Lai Joseph (DCMP 3568/2021, [2022] HKDC 912) — acted for the plaintiff for her adverse possession claim of a residential property against the deceased owner (as sole advocate)
