Fiona has a broad civil practice which includes family/matrimonial, building management, money lenders, land, probate and general civil cases. In particular, Fiona regularly advises on and appears in hearings involving main suit, ancillary relief and children matters in the Family Court. She also has experience in obtaining and resisting urgent injunctions in the Family Court and the High Court.

Fiona is fluent in English and Cantonese. She is capable of written work and advocacy in both English and Chinese.

  • ZXW v PKP & Anor [2023] HKFC 51 — Acted for the successful Respondent Wife in resisting a preliminary issue claim by the 2nd Respondent and in seeking ancillary relief for herself and the two children of the family following a 4-day trial
  • ZXW v PKP [2020] HKFC 21 — Acted for the successful Respondent Wife in obtaining maintenance pending suit for herself and the two children of the family
  • 譚 及 黃 [2019] HKFC 80 — Acted for the successful Respondent Mother in obtaining joint custody and sole care and control of the two children of the family following a 10-day trial
  • YKY v WSM [2018] HKFC 224 — Acted for the successful Petitioner Wife (led by Mr. Selwyn Yu SC and with Mr. Eugene Yim) in resisting the Respondent Husband’s application for leave to have the decree nisi be made absolute pursuant to section 17(2)(a) of the Matrimonial Causes Ordinance (Cap. 179)
  • Lam Fung Sin v Lee Yuet Wing [2024] 1 HKLRD 782; [2024] HKDC 33 — Acted for the successful Defendant Husband in appealing against the Order of a Master dismissing his application to stay the District Court proceedings pending the determination of his application for ancillary relief against the Plaintiff Wife in the Family Court
  • Hao Tian Finance Co Ltd v Hung Yuk Ming & Anor [2020] HKCFI 465 — Acted for the successful Plaintiff money lender (with Mr. Jason Wong) in seeking recovery of a loan and vacant possession of a property following a 5-day trial
  • The Incorporated Owners of No. 99 Bedford Road LDMP 4/2017 (unrep) (16 March 2018) — Acted for the successful Applicant in committal proceedings against the Respondent for breach of a Court Order made after trial
  • The Incorporated Owners of Kam Tao, Ngan Tao and Hoi Tao Buildings v Duraprogress Limited LDBM 300/2015 (unrep) (3 October 2016) — Acted for the successful Applicant in a dispute over the interpretation of DMC provisions and obtaining inter alia a mandatory injunction for the Respondent to demolish and remove canopies from the walls
